WHO: decriminalise drug injecting and provide naloxone to 'people likely to witness an overdose'

The World Health Organisation's new guidelines on HIV have called for the decriminalisation of drug injecting and for provision of nalxone and training to people likely to witness an opioid overdose.

Opioid overdose rates have been rising in recent years. More widespread naloxone availability could and should happen now.
